Vivature and Go4Ellis Partner for NCAA Championship Testing

(PHILADELPHIA, PA) - Go4Ellis has partnered with Diamond-Vivature to staff athletic trainers to manage and execute COVID testing at the 2021 NCAA DI, DII, and DIII championships across the country. With COVID-19 forcing an abbreviated schedule across most major sports, the NCAA has set a tentative schedule for athletic championships. The NCAA has balanced the need to play sports with the obvious concern for safety regarding all participants and viewers. The championship schedule begins in March and is set to cover all sports in all divisions, with sites located across the country. The need for multiple rounds of testing was apparent, and the reason to partner with Diamond-Vivature and Go4Ellis. Diamond-Vivature has been tasked with managing the COVID-19 testing protocol, while utilizing the Go4Ellis platform to staff qualified healthcare professionals for on-site execution. The respective on-site teams will be made up of the hosting school's Head Athletic Trainer, supported by multiple ATs who will carry out rapid testing. All players, staff, and other personnel will be tested throughout the week leading up to the event. Diamond-Vivature, was put in charge of accomplishing this ambitious task. so naturally he turned to the National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) for their insight. The NATA connected Diamond-Vivature with Go4Ellis, their preferred per diem partner. With nearly 12,000 ATs on the platform, Go4Ellis is the only national solution for staffing athletic trainers, and therefore the ideal partner. Initial plans will be to host nearly 100 separate championships, which could total up to 500 jobs for athletic trainers aiming to work per diem positions. Throughout the pandemic, Go4Ellis has staffed ATs to execute COVID-19 testing in several cities including New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Chicago. “We're an office full of former athletes, and Go4Ellis is thrilled to be working with Diamond-Vivature to ensure the NCAA Championships can happen in the safest environment possible," said Josh Beard, Athletic Trainer Community Manager at Go4Ellis. Now more than ever, Athletic Trainers are needed on every sideline, everywhere.
